the main aims of the project

People that have never been in Finland or in contact with Finns often think that Finnish people are depressive or experience the blue.

Through this project we want to go over that prejudgment and analyze how much it is not based on factual knowledge and how much it is.

The people that would like to get involved in this project will have the opportunity to demonstrate against this prejudice in a public event, which final result will depend on the conclusions we'll all together arrive.

As a stating point, we would like to meet individually every one willing to participate. He or she would have an interview with project's staff and will be introduced to the project.

In a second step all participants and some professionals on the field (anthropologists, sociologists and psychologists) will be invited to work in a team and debate and discuss together the issue.

The same group will think, depending on the conclusion/s we all will arrive, how the protest would be.
